
Penny War success! Small schools can do BIG things! New Albin Elementary and 5th & 6th grade raised $10,000 to give to the Delaney Family. The money will go to help the family with medical expenses for their 6 month old son Leon who was born with Cystic Fibrosis.




February is Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month. Please help me celebrate our CTE teachers and the awesome opportunities they provide our students!


The Lansing FFA Chapter will be hosting a soup supper and bake sale this Friday during the home basketball games. Come out and support our basketball teams and enjoy some delicious homemade soup. Serving will start at 5pm. Free will donation. Your support is greatly appreciated!


Today, two of our band members got to participate in a flute clinic by Genevieve Eichman. They learned many helpful techniques to help them with their flute playing!
Genevieve Eichman will be performing a solo in the La Crosse Wind Symphony on Sunday at Holmen HS 3pm.


And so it begins with enjoying good food, a reading of the comical script, and the blocking of the first practice! Larceny and Old Lace production April 5-6th.

Congratulations to our Kee Hawk wrestlers on a great night in Osage! Adam pinned his way through his bracket for first place, while Cadan picked up second place with two wins (one by fall and one by decision) and one loss. Way to represent, guys!



On Saturday, two of our middle school band members participated in Marion Junior Honor Band. Way to go Raymond on Alto Saxophone and Iris on Euphonium!



Kee High play tryouts was held for the comedy spring(April 5-6) play: Larceny and Old Lace. Congratulations to the casting crew. The first all cast practice will be Monday, January 27 at 6:30 PM with supper provided!


Students traveling to Mexico this spring are having a fundraiser Jan 23 before the basketball games.
International Club will be serving pasta bowls Thurs Jan 23 from 4:45-7:30 pm
Pasta with your choice of topping $5.00 and a beverage $1.00
Traveling students should check your email and sign up for work slots and supplies.


Penny Wars- Cash Cow event at New Albin Elementary is off to a great start! The 3rd grade jar looks pretty full, but there is a lot of silver in there. The kids' competitive spirits come out in the morning while they strategically placed their coins.


Pizza Party! Today the 11th and 6th grade classes partook in a joint pizza party for being the winning group from the ALOFTD for LIFT food drive. The total weight of food donated from the drive was 398 pounds. Great job to the winning classes and to everyone who brought in donations!



New Albin Elementary students had an assembly this morning to kick off their January PBIS initiative. They will be holding a penny war, where pennies count as positive points and silver coins are negative points. The money raised will go to the Delaney family to helps with expenses for their six month old son Leon who was born with cystic fibrosis. The students at NAE are so excited to get started with the penny wars!


6th grade Kee Hawks are showing off their Christmas Spirit!


New Albin Elementary students are on the hunt for Santa! Small Santa Clauses are hidden around the school, when found the students bring them to the office to turn in for a prize.
