Today, two of our band members got to participate in a flute clinic by Genevieve Eichman. They learned many helpful techniques to help them with their flute playing! Genevieve Eichman will be performing a solo in the La Crosse Wind Symphony on Sunday at Holmen HS 3pm.

Congratulations to our Kee Hawk wrestlers on a great night in Osage! Adam pinned his way through his bracket for first place, while Cadan picked up second place with two wins (one by fall and one by decision) and one loss. Way to represent, guys!

Kee High play tryouts was held for the comedy spring(April 5-6) play: Larceny and Old Lace. Congratulations to the casting crew. The first all cast practice will be Monday, January 27 at 6:30 PM with supper provided!

Penny Wars- Cash Cow event at New Albin Elementary is off to a great start! The 3rd grade jar looks pretty full, but there is a lot of silver in there. The kids' competitive spirits come out in the morning while they strategically placed their coins.

Pizza Party! Today the 11th and 6th grade classes partook in a joint pizza party for being the winning group from the ALOFTD for LIFT food drive. The total weight of food donated from the drive was 398 pounds. Great job to the winning classes and to everyone who brought in donations!

New Albin Elementary students had an assembly this morning to kick off their January PBIS initiative. They will be holding a penny war, where pennies count as positive points and silver coins are negative points. The money raised will go to the Delaney family to helps with expenses for their six month old son Leon who was born with cystic fibrosis. The students at NAE are so excited to get started with the penny wars!
